The winery LA HERPINIERE is involved into organic farming (or biological agriculture) using no synthetic inputs and thus, protecting biodiversity and the environment.

Christophe Verronneau is coming from several generations of winemakers. 7 years ago, he was the first winemaker of the Azay le Rideau AOC, « Appellation d’origine contrôlée » (term of controlled origin) to grow grapevine based on organic farming.

The grape from the vines grows naturally without any chemical inputs, without excess, with a low yield. It becomes a rich wine respecting the terroir.

Grape harvest is done by hand respecting the grape and the tradition.
