The cave of LA HERPINIERE, where the grapevine of the domain is grown, is a former freestone quarry (stone used to build houses and castles in the Val de Loire), dating back to the XVth century.


Over five century, the stone has been extracted from the cave of LA HERPINIERE leaving a labyrinth of 3.5 km-long galleries.

We will guide you through the laid out galleries.
